Need-based Scholarship
Center Stage Theatricals will be offering a FULL need-based scholarship to session 3, Disney's Peter Pan or Session 4, The Musical "13."
ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP: Several years ago, we lost one of our campers, tragically. At that time, the staff members of the camp created a scholarship to offer a child with limited means, an opportunity to fulfill a dream and perform in a major musical production. It is our way of honoring the memory of Abby Henderson, who's love for theatre still shines on.
While the scholarship is mostly need-based, we do also take into account the following:
• participation in the performing arts
• community involvement and leadership
• recommendation from teachers, church, or community leaders

Talent Scholarship
Center Stage Theatricals will be offering a FULL talent scholarship to session 3, Disney's Peter Pan or Session 4, The Musical "13."
ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP: Center Stage Theatricals is a teaching and educational performing arts organization that was first established by the school system. It is our belief that those students who continually work hard to improve their skills in the theatre arts should be rewarded. Applicants will make a short audition video in which they will perform a song AND dance, or a song AND a monologue. Videos can be transferred to DVD and mailed or may be emailed as a file attachment. Guidelines can be found below and by downloading the "requirements" file. Videos must be submitted by June 18, 2011.
1. Videos should be in Quicktime .mov, mp3 or mp4 format.
2. Audition videos should be attached and emailed to CenterStageKids@hotmail.com by June 18th. (For files too large to send with your regular email provider, you can use the website www.WeTransfer.com)
3, Applicants can choose to sing AND dance or sing AND perform a short monologue. Songs should be no more than 16 bars (measures) of a musical number with performer dancing as well. OR performer can sing 16 bars and perform a short contrasting monologue (30-60 seconds in length).
4. Choose something that shows off your character, voice and vocal range.
5. Song selection should have vocals removed. We want to hear YOUR voice, not the recording artist’s.
6. Applicants must include name and age on video, before audition begins.
7. Applicants must include Name, Age, Parent/Gauardian Name, Phone #, and Address in the email, when sending Audition Video.
8. The decision of the Center Stage Theatricals staff is final.
9. Center Stage Theatricals is not responsible for damaged, lost or corrupted video files.
10. Scholarship can be used for “Disney’s Peter Pan” session ($300 value) or The Musical “13” session ($375 value).
11. Winner must fill out a complete registration form prior to the start of camp.
